(Robinson) – A two-vehicle accident on Route 1A at the prison road had traffic backed up for a short time yesterday. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, at around 2:20 yesterday afternoon a vehicle driven by Veena Avula of Duluth Georgia failed to stop at the intersection of 1150 N and Route 1A and collided with the Brad Thompson of Marshall. Both vehicles landed in the ditch on the East side of the roadway. The vehicles sustained over $1500 damage and were towed from the scene. United Life Care Ambulance and the Robinson Fire Protection District assisted at the scene.
