This July on Pace to be Hotter than 2018

(Undated) – With hazy hot and humid weather for the weekend, you may be wondering how this compares to last July. In July of 2018, the hottest day of the month came on July 4th when we recorded a high of 96. There were thirteen days in the month with a high temperature of 90 degrees or above. A July 21st cold front brought highs into the mid 70’s to mid 80’s for the last ten days of the month. We finished July of 2018 with an average high of 87 degrees. Through the first 17 days of this month, we have recorded 11 days with highs of above 90.
