(Robinson) — The Oblong High School golf team defeated Robinson in a duel match at Oak Glen golf course yesterday. Oblong won the match with a team score of 175 to Robinson’s 186. For Oblong Grant Kidwell carded a 42, Jake Smothers shot a 44, Heyden Johnson finished with a 44, and Brandon Thompson shot a 45. Robinson was lead in scoring by Nick Weber who finished with a score of 45, Will Prindable carded a 45, Nyah Schulte shot a 48 and Cole Johnson finished with a 48. Robinson will return to action next Friday at the Olney Invitational at Richland County Country Club. Oblong will be back in action on September 3rd at Oak Glen.
