(Hutsonville) – Hutsonville will be the latest community in the county to talk about cannabis sales when the Village Board meets tonight. The board is set to hear from Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver, regarding the prohibition of cannabis sales in the village. As with the discussion in the rest of the county, Hutsonville will be looking at whether or not to allow the legal sale of recreational cannabis within the village limits. In other business, the village board will review and approve Part-Time Police Salaries, look at FEMA Risk Mapping, and approve an amended ordinance regarding grass and weeds. The Hutsonville Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 pm in the Hutsonville Community Center.
