(Undated) – The Red Cross is in urgent need of blood and platelet donations and Washington Elementary School is partnering with the Red Cross to host a community blood drive. According to Washington School Nurse, Cyndi Rehmel, Washington Elementary School is committed to strengthening the community and helping meet hospital and patient needs through blood donations. The community blood drive is set for a week from today from 3 pm to 7 pm at Washington Elementary School in the cafeteria. According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.
