(Robinson) – The Crawford County Board will once again look at the question of cannabis distribution when they meet tonight. They will look to approve an ordinance prohibiting licensed cannabis dispensaries in the unincorporated areas of the county. The County Board will also vote to pass an ordinance allowing Crawford County to collect a Cannabis Retailers Occupation Tax in the incorporated areas of Crawford County not to exceed 3% and a Cannabis Retailers Occupation Tax in the unincorporated area of Crawford County not to exceed 3.75 % on the sale of cannabis products. In an effort to get feedback from the community regarding cannabis dispensaries in the unincorporated areas of the county, the board will approve a resolution to place an advisory question on the March primary ballot. The Crawford County Board meets tonight at 6 pm on the top floor of the Courthouse Annex.
