City Council Votes to Prohibit Cannabis Sales

(Robinson) – The Robinson City Council got an update on the recent paving work, talked the South Cross Station, and voted on the topic of recreational cannabis when they met last night. The Council heard that road paving work will continue in the city and residents are asked to please be patient until the work is completed. Cross Street Station was officially opened on Saturday. The Council heard that the coins from the fountain will periodically be collected and donated to United Way of Crawford County. Finally, after a 4-4 tie, Robinson Mayor, Roger Pethtel, cast the decisive vote to prohibit recreational cannabis sales within the city. The Crawford County Board will look at a resolution to place the question on the March ballot when they meet tomorrow evening.
