(Robinson) — Crawford Memorial Hospital and the Robinson Police Department will give the public another opportunity to dispose of outdated and unwanted prescription drugs. Prescription drug abuse and theft are at epidemic levels across the country. The Take-Back initiative is one of several strategies under the Secure and Responsible Drug Disposal Act to reduce prescription drug abuse in the nation. The Drug Take-Back will be held this Saturday from 10-2 at the East Entrance of CMH. The Take-Back is a free no questions asked event. During the event they will take old and unused medication. However, they will not accept syringes.
