(New Hebron) – A gas leak as a result of the car/deer accident caused some excitement in the New Hebron area yesterday. According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department , the gas leak was located South of Robinson on 1100 E. The leak was the result of a car/deer accident. The deer was thrown off of the road and struck a gas standard. Authorities shut down the road from 900 N to 775 N for several hours, while crews repaired the leak. The road was re-opened around 2 am this morning.
