(Undated) – We may see our first true blast of winter weather today. According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, bitterly cold temperatures will dominate the forecast for the next couple of days. Through the day today, we can expect to see rain switching over to snow by this afternoon. The National Weather Service has issued a “Winter Weather Advisory” for the listening area, which goes into effect at noon and continues until 9 pm. The forecast is calling for 1-2 inches of accumulation. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for clear skies but daytime highs are only forecast to hit the low 20’s with winds gusting up to near 25mph, pushing wind chills tomorrow morning into the single digits.
