(Oblong) – Robinson, Palestine, and Hutsonville have all ushered in the Christmas season and Oblong will do the same this weekend. The Oblong Chamber of Commerce is reminding the public that Oblong will be celebrating the Christmas season with events both Saturday and Sunday. Events include “Breakfast with Santa, a Christmas Bazaar at the Oblong Village Hall, and a Hometown Christmas Book Walk at Oblong Public Library. Sunday features the arrival of the Santa Train at 11:15 am, Oblong Scouts Christmas in the Park from 4 pm-7 pm, and Live Nativity Scene at Oblong EUM church from 6 pm-7:30 pm.
