(Sullivan, IN) – A Hymera, Indiana man wanted on a Crawford County Warrant was arrested yesterday following an alleged domestic battery in a vehicle. According to Sullivan County Sheriff, Clark Cottom, witnesses told authorities that a male passenger was seen assaulting a female driver. Sheriff’s officials also learned the incident caused the driver to nearly sideswipe another vehicle. After being dropped off at a Hymera residence, thirty-three-year-old Nicholas Orman was taken into custody. He was charged with domestic battery in the incident. Orman also faces warrants for failure to appear in Sullivan County, Petition to Revoke Probation in Clay County, a property damage warrant and Petition to Revoke for Controlled Substance charges in Crawford County. He is being held in the Sullivan County Jail.
