(Lawrenceville) – An area man is dead following a single-vehicle accident near Russellville yesterday afternoon. According to the Illinois State Police, at around 5:55 pm 64-year-old James Foreman was traveling north on route 33, a half-mile south of Russellville when he overcorrected after running off of the road while negotiating a left-hand curve. Foreman struck a tree with the rear of his 1999 Buick. He was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
