Palestine Police Asking for the Public’s Help

(Palestine) – Authorities in Palestine are asking for the public’s help. According to Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, his department is investigating a case of Criminal Damage to Property and Attempted Residential Burglary. Chief Besing reports that an unknown person damaged window screens and a patio door glass in an attempt to gain entry into the residence in the 600 block of West Harrison Street. Anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity in this area in the past 7-10 days is being asked to contact the Palestine Police Department “Text-A-Tip” Hotline at (812) 648-0727 or the Crawford County Crimestoppers at (888)-596-7867. You do not have to reveal your identity when making these calls.
