(Robinson) – The Crawford County Board held its regular February meeting Thursday evening. The board got an update from Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, regarding the department’s recent acquisition of a 1986 Hummer. According to Rutan, it will aid in getting to places other vehicles can’t and will be in service soon. The Crawford County Health Department presented their annual report last night. They are working on putting special emphasis on the mental health services available at the Health Department. In other business, the board and representatives from Oblong and Hutsonville looked at the RLF grants. It was also announced last night that a special County Board meeting will be held Thursday, March 5th at 5 pm to discuss ambulance service bids.
