(Undated) – The first of three oversized loads bound for Marathon made its way into town yesterday morning. The first of the shipments came in three pieces and passed by the WTYE studio around 11 am. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, there are two more shipments that will be coming through over the next two weeks. The Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Police, and local authorities will continue to work on this project. Expect traffic delays related to these shipments and stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest information.
