(Robinson) – The RHS Maroons have one wrestler that will be taking part in the state tournament in Champaign. Jeff Herman placed second in the 145 lb weight class to advance. Herman won his first two matches of the day during the IHSA 1A Wrestling Sectionals in Vandalia Saturday but fell short in the Championship match. Also competing for the Maroons, but failing to advance was Elliott Stifle who finished the season 27-11 picking up two wins and two losses on Saturday. Nick Eby failed to advance and finishes the season at 25-10. Austin Hargrave also did not advance and finishes with a season record of 25-16.
