CMH Board Continues Work on Magnolia Center

cmh-2

(Robinson) – The Crawford Memorial Hospital Board met last night. They were introduced to a new staff member and talked about the next steps following the closing of the Magnolia Center. During last night’s meeting, the board was introduced to Craig Parrish who will be taking over as plan manager, following the departure of Mark Rich. Parrish has been in a similar position at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. With the closing of the Magnolia Center, the manual for the facility was deleted from hospital policy. Also, the equipment from that area is being dispersed and sold. In other business, an ordinance to re-finance some bonds was approved. At this time the interest rates are lower than they’ve been since 1956, thus saving the hospital thousands of dollars.
