Gas Prices Trending Up

(Undated) – The coronavirus in China continues to drive gas prices. According to Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy, Patrick DeHann, oil prices are on the move on word that OPEC members cutting global oil production to offset the decline in demand due to the coronavirus. Nationally the average price at the pump has seen a four-cent increase from Monday to $2.47. Statewide there has been a dime jump in prices since Monday. The current average price at the pump is $2.64 a gallon. Prices locally are a bit less than that hovering around $2.48 a gallon in Crawford County. The statewide average in Indiana is $2.42 a gallon.
