CMH Asking Patients to Postpone Non-emergency Procedures

cmh-2

(Undated) — As the COVID-19 pandemic increases, Crawford Memorial Hospital is working to be proactive. In an effort to conserve resources and prevent the spread of infection, they are advising patients who have routine lab work, imaging procedures or imaging wellness screenings such as mammograms, to consider contacting their provider to see if the tests or lab work can be postponed. The CMH emergency department is always open to assist and evaluate the community. If you are unsure if you need emergency care, you can contact your primary care provider during working hours or the after-hours Patient Advisory Nurse Line or further guidance during these unusual times. Remember staying home and away from crowds is the best way to prevent the spread of any illness, including COVID-19. If you must be around people, please practice social distancing, staying 6-10 feet away from people at all times.
