(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is doing its part to help with an emergency call for donors from the American Red Cross. According to the Red Cross, they have a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, announced yesterday that the Village will be hosting a blood drive next week. Healthy individuals are asked to come and make a donation next Wednesday from 1-6 pm at the Oblong Municipal Building, 202 S. Range.
