(Undated) – The recent rainfall has promoted the National Weather Service to issues a “Flood Warning” for the WTYE listening area. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook,” flooding will develop on the lower end of the Embarras River by tonight and along the Wabash River this weekend. The Wabash is forecast to rise above flood stage this evening and crest the middle of next week at 20.5 feet. As always, motorists are reminded to never drive into floodwater. Turn around, don’t drown.
