Weekend Forecast Calling for Storms

(Undated) – The weekend weather forecast should make it easy to “stay at home.” According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to continue throughout the day today. The threat of severe storms will ramp back up through the afternoon and evening tomorrow. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary concerns, but an isolated tornado is also possible. A “Flood Warning” also continues for the Wabash River at Hutsonville. It’s currently already above flood stage at seventeen feet and is expected to rise to near 20.7 feet by Tuesday evening, before it falls back below flood stage on Saturday, April 4th.
