Flood Warning in Effect for Wabash River

(Undated) – Following several days of wet weather, the National Weather Service has issued a “Flood Warning” for portions of the Wabash River. According to the latest Hazardous Weather Outlook, the Wabash River at Hutsonville is forecast to crest at 20 feet late Saturday night and will fall below flood stage by Tuesday. The current forecast looks cloudy but relatively dry through Friday. The next chance of rain comes Saturday where the current forecast is calling for a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
