(Undated) – The threat of showers and thunderstorms through Friday on the already wet and saturated ground has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a “Flood Warning” through the end of the week. According to the latest forecast, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms through at least Friday. The Wabash River at Hutsonville is forecast to crest at nearly twenty feet late this evening and begin to fall back below flood stage by tomorrow. Saturday appears to our first shot at a rain-free forecast. Currently, the National Weather Service is calling for sunshine and highs in the low seventies through the weekend.
