(Undated) – Following the 18th confirmed COVID-19 case in Crawford County yesterday, the Crawford County Health Department is encouraging the public to take advantage of the mobile testing unit. It is currently parked in the Health Department parking lot and testing will be available from 9 am-5 pm today. According to the CCHD, you do not need to be symptomatic or have been “contact traced.” Frontline workers, first responders, grocery store workers, anyone working with vulnerable populations, those who have been involved in demonstrations, protests, or other large gatherings, and those who have been in contact with known positive cases of COVID-19 are encouraged to be tested. No appointment is necessary. A physician’s order is not required. There is no charge to individuals. You are asked to present your insurance card at the time of service if applicable.
