(Undated) – The latest “plague” to befall us appears as though it will have a minimal impact on the Midwest. What is being called one of the biggest dust storms to cross the Atlantic Ocean in decades is expected to hit the Gulf Coast today. The weekend is when the remnants may arrive here. According to National Weather Service Meteorologist, Jon Carney, it will likely not have much on an impact on us.
The plume of dust began to emerge off western Africa last weekend.
