(Undated) – One of the marquee events of the year in the Ag Industry is the latest victim of COVID-19. The 2020 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa has now been canceled. Show manager, Matt Jungmann, says a virtual experience is being organized for September 1st-3rd.
Jungmann says that they fought hard for the “in-person” event but it just wasn’t the right thing to do given the COVID-19 spikes seen in other states.
He says they will look to put on the best virtual experience they can this year and look ahead to the Farm Progress Show in Decatur in 2021.
