(Undated) – Police across the state are reminding drivers to “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click or Ticket” this holiday weekend. Officers from the state, county, and city departments will be joining forces for increased patrols through the early part of next week. According to authorities, the ongoing patrol is focusing on impaired and unbuckled drivers. The “stepped up” patrols will continue through July 6th. Authorities are reminding those that celebrate with alcohol or cannabis to designate a sober driver and don’t let friends and family members drive under the influence, make sure everyone in the vehicle wears their seatbelt, and have a happy and safe holiday weekend.
