(Undated) – Yes, Virginia, there are fireworks. Concerns over COVID-19 have had many people asking if the City of Robinson would be doing fireworks this year. The answer is a resounding yes. Park and Recreation Superintendent, Mike Shimer, says events will get underway with an “Old-Fashion” hot dog cookout at 5 pm.
The fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm and as we did last year, WTYE will be providing the musical accompaniment. However, this year we will broadcast the music on 101.7 WTYE and WTYEfm.com. Shimer reminds those in attendance to maintain good social distance.
