(Undated) – Friday night lights may be the next thing to be canceled because of the coronavirus. IHSA Executive Director, Craig Anderson, yesterday said it appears it is going to be difficult to start high school football in the fall.
Football practices can start in Illinois on August 10th. However, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois State Board of Education are discouraging contact because of the coronavirus. The IHSA Board of Directors will convene a week from today to review options as the fall sports season approaches.
