LTC Sports Being Rearranged Following NJCAA Recomendation

(Undated) – Lincoln Trail College athletics are going to look at a bit different following recent recommendations from the NJCAA Presidential Advisory Council and the NJCAA Board of Regents. Recommendations released earlier this week called for all fall “close-contact” sports to be shifted to the spring. Lincoln Trail College Coordinator of Marketing and Public Information, Chris Forde, says while this is going to be a change it will give their student-athletes a chance to compete.
The most recent plan of action shifts all “close-contact” fall sports such as men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball to the spring semester. Winter sports competitions, such as men’s and women’s basketball will begin in January. Spring sports, such as baseball, softball, and golf will remain intact with minor adjustments to dates.
