(Hutsonville) – The Hutsonville Unit 1 School District is continuing to iron out plans for next month’s return to school. During last night’s School Board meeting it was announced that the district has ordered desk shields for every student, faculty, and staff member as well as put “touchless” hand sanitizer stations in each room. Superintendent, Julie Kramer, also told the board that a hearing regarding the lawsuit filed by the IDPH, ISBE, and Governor, JB Pritzker, has been set for August 4th at 9 am in the Circuit Court for the Seventh Judicial Circuit Sangamon County, Illinois. Kramer also reminds parents that online registration continues thru August 1st. There is also time set aside on August 5th and August 6th from 12 pm-7 pm for new students to come in and register and from 2 pm-6 pm both days for those who need access to a computer or assistance.
