Gas Prices Remain Low

(Undated) – Continued uncertainty brought on by the recent uptick in COVID-19 numbers nationwide has caused the price at the pump to remain well below normal for this time of year. According to the latest numbers released by GasBuddy.com, the average price at the pump in Illinois is hovering around $2.38 a gallon. That is .53 cents below the average last year at this time. In Indiana, the average price is down .66 cents from a year ago to $2.10 a gallon. The national average is .54 cents below last year at this time, hovering around $2.19 a gallon.
