According to the latest numbers released by GasBuddy.com, the average price at the pump in Illinois is hovering around $2.38 a gallon. That is .53 cents below the average last year at this time. In Indiana, the average price is down .66 cents from a year ago to $2.10 a gallon. The national average is .54 cents below last year at this time, hovering around $2.19 a gallon.
