(Undated) — The IHSA announced its plan for the upcoming school year yesterday. The plan moves some fall sports to the spring and allows others to continue as planned with restrictions. IHSA Executive Director, Craig Anderson, says that football practice will likely begin in mid February with the first game in March.
Anderson says there is still a lot to be figured out but the season will likely be shortened.
Sports like cross country and golf will be allowed beginning in August. Boys and girls basketball will start in mid November. Baseball and softball are scheduled to start in May.
