(Undated) – Lincoln Trail College continues to embrace technology in the education of their students. The most recent addition to the Process Technology program is a new virtual outside operator simulator. This video game style program simulates working outside in a facility like a refinery. Process Technology Instructor, Tina Lindley, says it fills a real gap.
Lindley says the simulator will be a valuable asset to help students gain the skills they need to prepare for jobs. She says she sees the new simulator as just a start. She’s hoping to be able to add additional modules to the simulator over time.
