(Oblong) – The Oblong Village Board meets this evening and they have a handful of items on the agenda. They will look at resolutions regarding the “Homecoming Parade,” “Halloween Parade,” and “Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code.” In other business, the board will hear a request from Vault Antiques to park a Whitaker Beef Food Truck in front of their store on September 5th. The Oblong Village Board will meet at 5 pm in the Oblong Municipal Building.
