(Olney, IL) – Authorities in Richland County have made an arrest in connection to the murder of an Olney man. According to the Illinois State Police, with the assistance of the Olney Police Department and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, they arrested thirty-three-year-old Tara Haws, of Olney in connection with the September 6th murder of Kyle Johnson. Haws was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder by Accountability. She is being held in the Richland County Jail. Rick Meador is still wanted. Again officials caution the public, do not approach Meador, he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Meador should call law enforcement immediately.
