The Crawford County Health Department had reported 24 additional cases from over the weekend of Covid-19, raising the county’s total to 280 to date. According to information from the Illinois Department of Corrections, 150 cases of Covid-19 in the county are connected to the Robinson Correctional Facility. In the latest update, 134 prisoners and 16 staff members are experiencing active cases of Covid-19. 4 staff members and 2 prisoners have recovered from the virus. According to the health department, one person is hospitalized currently, 84 people have recovered, and there are currently 170 tests that are pending results. Meanwhile, The state department of public health announced 14-hundred-62 new coronavirus cases and 14 new deaths Sunday. The positive test rate was about three-point-one percent. The seven-day positivity rate is about three-point-seven percent.
