Big Ten Football Could Kick-Off Next Month

(Undated) — Multiple reports say Big Ten presidents and chancellors overwhelmingly approved to kick off the football season next month. It would reportedly start on October 17th and be an eight-game schedule in a nine-week span with a conference championship game on December 19th. On August 11th, the Big Ten postponed fall football because of coronavirus concerns. On August 19th, League Commissioner, Kevin Warren, said the decision would not be revisited. A backlash from several schools and advances in COVID-19 testing led to the Big Ten reversing its decision.
