VIDEO: Wanted Man in Custody

(Undated) – An area man wanted in two states is now in custody. According to Sullivan County Sheriff, Clark Cottom, twenty-one-year-old Dalton Hood of West York, was arrested yesterday morning after the stolen truck he was driving collided with a semi-tractor trailer on US 41 during a police pursuit. Hood had been the primary suspect in a three-county crime spree, in which multiple vehicles had been stolen. Police also believe Hood was the suspect, caught on camera, in a northern Sullivan County theft from a residence last week. He was transported to the Sullivan County Jail and faces a laundry list of charges including, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Resisting Law Enforcement. He was also served with several Indiana warrants. Crawford and Vigo County are also pursuing charges against Hood. Bond for Hood currently totals fifty-two-thousand-dollars.
