(Undated) – Gas prices continue to shift up and down but show little in the way of significant change in either direction. According to GasBuddy.com, the current national average price is hovering around $2.19 a gallon. Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy, Patrick DeHann, says that prices largely remain range-bound as the tug of war between market forces continues to keep prices confined near current levels. DeHann says on the one hand the ongoing pandemic is pulling prices lower and on the other the continued hope for an economic stimulus provides a boost to the industry. The current average price in Illinois is $2.20 a gallon. It’s a dime cheaper in Indiana, hovering around $2.10 a gallon.
