(Lawrenceville) – An area man has been sentenced to two decades behind bars for his role in a 2015 murder. Following a hearing in Knox Circuit Court yesterday, forty-one-year-old Robert Hutchinson was sentenced to twenty years in prison for his part in the murder of Christopher Melton. Melton was found shot to death on April 27 th, 2015 in a house on North Sixth Street in Vincennes. Hutchinson was also sentenced to five years probation, in addition to the 20-year prison term.
