Polling Places Open as Normal Despite Pandemic

(Undated) – The polls are open and Crawford County Clerk, Fayrene Wright, reminds voters that despite the ongoing pandemic, polling places will be open as normal. According to Wright the only change in polling places is for those voting in “Oblong Precinct 3.” You will now cast your ballot at the Forest Preserve. Voters are asked to take the proper COVID-19 mitigation measures. Wear a mask, maintain a safe distance, and wash your hands. Also, Wright reminds everyone to be respectful of the poll workers. They will be working extra hard today disinfecting the polling places throughout the day to ensure a safe place to vote. The polls will close promptly at 7 pm. As in years past we will have live election results on the air at 101.7 WTYE and online at WTYEfm.com. Those interested should check the “Election HQ” at our website for results as they become available.
