(Palestine) – Authorities in Palestine are warning the public to be on the look-out for “funny money.” The Palestine Police Department posted on their official Facebook page, pictures of a bogus $20 bill being passed around as “real currency.” The bills are stamped with the words “replicas.” Oblong Police Chief, Chad Pusey, issued a similar warning in October after recovering some bogus bills in Oblong. Authorities remind the public to be cautious and check your money. If you find any of these bogus bills, contact your local law enforcement agency.
