(Undated) — As the U.S. experiences a new surge in COVID-19 cases, donations of convalescent plasma are more important than ever. Convalescent plasma donations collect plasma from COVID-19 survivors as antibodies to the disease in their blood may help patients who are currently fighting the virus. The Red Cross reminds eligible donors, health emergencies don’t pause for a pandemic or holiday celebrations. Your next chance to donate is coming up on Wednesday, the Red Cross will be set up at Good Samaritan Occupational Health and Acute Care from 11 am-4 pm.
