Wind Advisory in Effect for the Area

weather-2

(Undated) – If you have items outside that might “take flight” with high winds, you may want to secure them. According to the National Weather Service, a “Wind Advisory” remains in effect for the area through at least 6 pm this evening. We can look forward to south to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph possible at times. The windy weather is forecast to continue through the overnight as well, with winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting as high as 30 mph. The winds will decrease as we move into Friday. However, the high winds look to bring with them cloudy skies and the chance of rain through much of the weekend. Sunshine and calmer conditions look to return on Monday.
