(Undated) – Demolition began last week and the official groundbreaking for the Theater Renaissance project is scheduled for tomorrow. According to Lincoln Trail College Coordinator of Marketing and Public Information, Chris Forde, the groundbreaking ceremony will take place in the East Entrance Canopy of LTC’s Student Union tomorrow at 11 am. The new 3,600 square-foot addition to the Zwermann Arts Center will mark the first “brick and mortar” construction on the campus since 1975 and is expected to be completed in the early summer of 2021. Tomorrow’s ceremony will be broadcast live on Lincoln Trail College’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/LincolnTrailCollege.
