(Undated) – The yo-yo price of oil has kept the price at the pump uncertain. According to GasBuddy.com, after falling the week prior, gas prices have risen again, following the price of oil higher. The national average is up 4.9 cents per gallon over the last week to $2.35. Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy, Patrick DeHann, says with oil’s ongoing meteoric rally, motorists continue to face climbing gas prices. He says with a barrel of crude oil now at its highest level in nearly a year, there’s nowhere for gas prices to go but up. DeHann says, how long we may be on this road relies on continued reduction in new COVID cases, but for the coming weeks, we may see gas prices continuing their climb. The current statewide average is hovering around $2.43 a gallon. It’s $2.30 a gallon in Indiana.
