Crawford County Improves to Tier 1

(Undated) – Crawford County is among those statewide that are officially seeing mitigation restrictions loosened. State health officials announced yesterday that Region Six, which includes Crawford, is among three regions moving to Tier One. Tier One allows limited capacity indoor dining with service limited to 25% capacity at bars. According to the Crawford County Health Department, while our region, Region 6, has a six-day positivity rate is 6.7%, Crawford County is currently at a positivity rate of just 3.8%. Regions One and Two have also been moved to Tier One. Regions Three and Five are now back on Tier Four of the Restore Illinois Plan. Regions Eight, Nine, Ten, and Eleven are moving from the most restrictive Tier Three to Tier Two.
